2026 Championship of Champions Application for Invitation

Event Dates: September 16-20, 2026 Host Club: Wawasee Yacht Club Boat: E-Scow
Deadline to Apply: August 12, 2026

This is an application for invitation to the championship, not a registration for the championship itself. To submit this Application for Invitation, you should have received an email from the CofC Committee Member, Terry Fraser. If you did not receive an email with instructions on how to apply please reach out to adultchampionships@ussailing.org or dianaemmanuelli@ussailing.org

The applicant must be a 2025 or 2026 one-design class U.S. National, North American, or Wold Championship skipper or crew. The qualifying period runs from August 13, 2025 through August 9, 2026. If a class championship is completed after August 9, 2026, the class championship will be eligible to apply for next year's Championship of Champions.

You and your crew (if applicable) must be current members of US Sailing through the duration of the event. You can look up your member ID here or, if need be, join or renew here.

All competitors (including crew) must be at least 18 years of age at time of the sailing of the Championship of Champions.

The one-design class represented by each competing sailor must be a current member of US Sailing at the time of application.
